Invitée par l’office de tourisme d’Australie, me voici donc au ” pays des kangourous” en compagnie d’Elodie.
Après quelques jours passé à Melbourne, nous avons parcouru la célèbre “Great Ocean Road”.
Nous avons énormément apprécié notre après midi passé au Great Ocean Ecolodge, une maison d’hôtes entourée d’une réserve naturelle peuplée de koalas, kangourous et wallabies.
Au beau milieu d’un thé ( et de scones délicieux ) nous avons d’ailleurs vu débarquer un invité surprise …
En partant de Paris, je ne m’attendais pas à faire connaissance de si près avec un bébé Koala!
Autre site de la great ocean road qui vaut le détours: The 12 Apostles.
Ces grands rochers émergants de l’océan sont vraiment très impressionnant !
En nous dirigeant vers notre prochaine destination, nous n’avons pas manqué de remarquer sur le bord de route un grand nombre de panneaux ” attention aux kangourous”.
Moi qui suis plutôt habitué à ceux des vaches, c’était délicieusement exotique.

So, as you guessed, I’m in Australia at the moment!
I’ve been invited by tourism Australia, so I feel pretty Lucky.
After a few days spent in Melbourne ( pictures soon ), Elodie and I were on The great Ocean Road .
We were delighted with our afternoon at the Great Ocean Eco Lodge, a guesthouse surounded by koalas, kangourous and wallabies ( and many others ) in a beautiful natural park.
Just as we were having some delicious scones and tea, a very special guest suddenly appeared …
Leaving from Paris, I never expected I could ever get that close of such an adorable baby koala !
Another beautiful place of the Great Ocean Road: The 12 Apostles.
These giant rocks rising majestically from the ocean are really amazing to see.
As we were heading to our next destination, we could only notice all these kangourou warning signs.
For someone who’s rather used of cow sign, that was pretty exotic !

OMG Je suis amoureuse de ce bébé koala !!!!!!!! Je trouve ça chouette qu’Elodie et toi mettiez des choses différentes, souvent quand des bloggeuses participent aux mêmes évènements, on voit les mêmes photos partout, là on a vraiment 2 très jolis points de vues. L’Australie est un pays où la faune et flore locale est une merveille, regorgeant d’espèces rares. Vous devez juste être trop heureuse de parcourir ces si beaux paysages. Tu me rends si nostalgique… J’ai passé trois semaines en Australie l’été dernier, à Sydney et Brisbane, c’était merveilleux. Le paradis en fait. J’ai vu des paysages similaires près de Sydney, au Royal Park, c’était fantastique. Profites en bien !
