J’ai entendu pas mal de choses à propos de Los Angeles.
Beaucoup de gens ayant visité on dit par la suite qu’ils n’avaient pas vraiment aimé, que la circulation ainsi que la superficie étaient un truc de fou.
En revanche, d’après ma propre expérience, je peux dire que j’ai beaucoup aimé !
J’ai passé la plupart du temps sur la côte, à me balader sur la plage ou à faire du vélo.
J’ai fait un peu de shopping sur Main street, et découvert pas mal de boutiques vintage à travers la ville.
J’ai aimé que chaque maison là bas soit différente, j’ai aimé tous ces chiens minuscules courant et jouant sur les pelouses, j’ai aimé la bouffe, j’ai aimé faire des photos pour AA et visiter leur gigantesque usine, j’ai aimé l’ambiance surf, les gens super cool, mais par dessus tout … j’ai aimé la plage !

I heard a lot of things about L.A
Many people who visited told me they didn’t like it, that the traffic was crazy, and the town much too big.
But from what I saw and did there, I just can say that I loved this city !
I spend most of the time by the sea side, walking on the beach and riding my bike.
I did some shopping on Main Street also, and discovered great vintage stores all around the city.
I loved that every single house in the city is different, I loved all these small dogs playing and running on the grass, I loved shooting for AA and visiting their huge factory, I loved the food, the surfing vibe, the cool peoples, and most of all … I loved the beach !

You should come a few hours north to Santa Barbara- We live in a super beautiful city with awesome shopping. . . and a AA store right on State St. The Drive is classic as well. Think Big Wednessday.

Coucou Alix. Wa, depuis le temps que je viens sur ton blog, je reste habituellement bouche bée mais là tu m’épates. Tes Photos sont si belles. Sur ce poste,tu a changé la couleur non ? Un filtre? Si tu considère ma question trop personnelle c’est pas grave. C’était juste pour savoir parceque je suis réellement restée bouche bée. Sinon tu fais tes photos seule ou quelqu’un te les fait ? Voila, se sont des questions qui me démangent depuis un certain temps.

I was in LA last weekend, and will be this weekend also. I love Santa Monica - and LA in general. I think the key is having things planned - and know where you’re going.

J’ai vécu 3 mois à Los Angeles, pour travailler dans un labo de USC. La vie quotidienne là-bas, c’est pas la fête, vraiment. On m’a même déconseillé de sortir dans la rue après 18h ! Sans voiture, c’était l’enfer. Par contre, Santa Monica où tu as pris tes photos, j’y passais tous mes week end. Dommage que ce soit des enseignes que l’on trouve chez nous qu’il y a dans la 3ème rue (à part peut être Urban OutFitters, il me semble qu’il y en a un, non ?). J’ai aussi apprécié les petites boutiques qu’il y a sur Melrose (avec un petit esprit vintage).
Tes photos sont superbes (et ta glace géante donne faim)! J’aime bien ton vernis aussi, mais ça n’a aucun rapport!

I’ve really enjoyed all the photos from your trip. These are great as well. Love that some have a vintage 60’s effect and others evoke the 90’s. The AA set is awesome. That must’ve been an interesting experience, especially seeing the gritty part of LA where the warehouse is.
