Souvenirs magiques du Carnaval de Versailles, qui a eu lieu il y a un peu plus d’une semaine à L’orangerie du château.
Ça a été un réel plaisir de me glisser dans mon costume de marquise ( Les Ateliers Vertugadins ), et de me faire coiffer et maquiller par le très talentueux Luc Drouen.
Avec Diane, Louise, Eleonore et Chloé, nous avons passé l’après midi à rire en essayant nos crinolines, à mettre des objets rigolos dans nos coiffures ( j’ai fini avec un oiseau de sapin de Noël dans les cheveux ), le tout sur fond sonore très 80′s.
Ce n’est pas tous les jours que je prends le temps de me costumer, mais l’après midi était déjà une jolie fête, et le lieu d’exception où se tenait la soirée en valait bien la chandelle !

Magical memories … that’s what I keep from the Carnival of Versailles, wich took place at the castle’s Orangerie a few days ago.
It’s been such a pleasure to slip into my Marquise dress ( Atelier Les Vertugadins ), and to have my hair and makeup done by the very talented Luc Drouen.
On 80′s music, along with Diane, Louise, Eleonore and Chloé, we spent the afternoon laughing, trying on our crinolines, and putting funny things into our very high hairstyles ( I ended up with a christmas bird in mine ).
It’s not every day that I take the time to dress up this long, but the afternoon was a party itself already and the exeptionnal place where we were spending the night was well worth the effort !

Okay this is hands down my favorite post since you took us on a tour of Paris at Christmas in 2008!!! Seriously lush and decadent and quintessentially Parisienne!
