Snowy Brighton

Ma première visite à Brighton est apparu sous la forme d’un conte de fée, car le week end de ma visite … il neigeait !

J’étais venue pour découvrir la ville, dont j’avais souvent entendu parler, et aller voir l’expo BIBA ! ( Brighton est la ville où a grandit sa créatrice: Barbara Hulanicki )

Tout près du musée, avec son architecture inspirée des palais Indien, le Royal Pavilion couvert de neige me donnait l’impression d’avoir atterri dans un univers magique.

A Brighton, il y a également le très beau Pier, que je vous montrerai la prochaine fois !

My first visit to Brighton appeared like in a fairy tale: it was snowing exactly the week end I was there !

I came to discover the city, and to see the BIBA exhibition (Brighton is the city where its creator, Barbara Hulanicki, grew up)

Near the museum, with its architecture inspired by Indian palace, the Royal Pavilion covered with snow made me feel like I landed in a magic land.

In Brighton, there is also the beautiful Pier, but I’ll show you next time!

Awesome image of Brighton! I’ve been there but always with sunny weather…or at least without snow ;)

Brighton is one of the nicest places to visit, great ethical foodie places, unique boutiques, chilled out atmosphere, the pier in the summer, the tea shops in the winter.. Looks gorgeous in the snow!

My hometown! My mum used to own a coffee shop called the Café Crème there in the 80s (very close to the Pavilion actually).
Did you go to Velvet? Something tells me you would love that shop.
