Avant de visiter d’autres parcs Disneyland dans le monde, je n’avais pas tellement d’éléments de comparaison par rapport à celui de Paris.
Comme ont dit, l’herbe est toujours plus verte ailleurs … je m’étais fait l’idée que notre parc Français devait être une version miniature, et forcément moins bien que les autres.
C’est donc en revenant au parc le week end dernier que j’ai pu comparer.
Et j’en suis venue à la conclusion que Disneyland Paris vaut tout à fait le détour !
Disney World Florida et gigantesque bien sûr, mais sa partie « Magic Kingdom » est très semblable à notre « Fantaisyland », et le parc de Disneyland Tokyo et pratiquement pareil à quelques détails près.
La grande différence que j’ai pu comparer entre ces trois parcs tout de même, c’est que dans les autres pays, les parents n’hésitent pas à costumer leurs enfants ( une foule de Cendrillon au US, et une multitude de Minnie et Alice au Pays des Merveilles au Japon ).
Je suis quand même contente de voir que de plus en plus de monde jouent le jeu des oreilles Mickey et Minnie à Disneyland Paris ( pourquoi ne pas aller jusqu’au bout tant qu’on y est, hein, heiin ? )
Mais ce qui nous manque en France peut être, c’est l’incroyable confiserie et les délicieux burger de Disney World Florida, et les gâteaux en forme de personnages ainsi que toutes les goodies de Disneyland Tokyo ( meilleurs souvenirs Disney de la terre ).
Voilà, mon délire pour Disney se fait sans doute très vivement sentir.
Plus que le souvenir des dessins animés que je regardais pendant mon enfance, je crois que ce qui me plait le plus dans ce parc de Disneyland Paris est l’habileté et l’imagination de certaines personnes à recréer tout un univers. Il y a pleins de petits détails, et tout est extrêmement bien pensé et réfléchi ( on peut sentir l’effort des jardiniers à conserver un parc verdoyant même en hiver ) .
Là bas, on passe d’une ambiance comte de fée à un univers futuriste ou de cow boy comme par magie.
Et je comprends pourquoi ça me plait tant! A bien plus petite échelle, c’est quelque chose que j’essaye parfois de créer sur ce blog, à travers les photos.

Before I got the chance to visit over Disneylands in the world, I couldn’t really compare to the one we have here in Paris.
As we say, the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence, so I made myself this idea that Disneyland Paris was certainly a smaller version, and not as good as all the others.
It’s only when I came back to the park last week end that I could finally compare.
And finally, I came to the conclusion that Disneyland Paris is totally worth it !
Of course DisneyWorld Florida is huge, but its « Magic Kingdom » is very similar to ours, and the one in Disneyland Tokyo is almost the same exept a few little details.
The big difference I see between this 3 parks is that in other countries, parents don’t hesitate to dress up their children ( a lot of little blond cinderella in the US, and a multitude of Minnie and Alice in Wonderland in Japan ).
But I’m still happy to see that more and more people play the game of wearing the Mickey and Minnie Mouse ears in Disneyland Paris ( once you’re there, why not go all the way, hmmm ? )
What we probably miss in Paris is the AMAZING confectionnery and delicious burger of Disney World Florida, the cakes in the shapes of Disney Characters and incredible goodies of Disneyland Tokyo ( the cutest little obects on earth, hands down ! )
Well, now you can probably see how a crazy person I am about Disney …
More than the memories of the Motion pictures I watched during my childhood, I think what I like the most about these parks is the skills and imagination of some people to recreate an entire universe.
When you’re there, you can jump from a fairytale athmosphere to a futuristic world. This is magical !
At a much smaller scale, it is something I try to recreate on the blog, through the photos.

Après avoir fait pratiquement le tour du monde des parcs Disney ( Orlando et Tokyo ), je suis retournée avec plaisir à celui de mon enfance, et pour une occasion spéciale: le coup d’envoi de La prolongation du 20 ème anniversaire de Disneyland Paris.
Tout au long d’un week end, des événements exclusifs avaient été organisés pour la presse et des célébrités, comme un défilé de mode avec Minnie dans une robe Lanvin, un cocktail fabuleux sous une tente, et un magnifique spectacle nocture ( c’était fou, je vais y revenir un peu plus tard ).
Cette nouvelle immersion au coeur de l’univers Disney fut pour moi l’occasion de profiter pleinement du parc, des festivitées et des roller coasters comme jamais auparavant ( avec les attractions privatisées le soir, je me suis fait Space Mountain au moins 4 fois d’affilé ).
J’ai la sensation d’avoir passé 2 jours féériques, et l’anniversaire des 20 ans du parc me plonge également dans une certaine nostalgie. Lorsque le parc à ouvert en 1992, j’étais toute gamine et je regardais en boucle les VHS de Blanche Neige, Alice Au Pays Des Merveilles, La Belle Au Bois Dormant, Peter Pan et Cendrillon.
Beaucoup, beaucoup de souvenirs resurgissent dès que je passe les portes de ce parc… mais comme je pourrai en parler pendant des heures, je préfère réserver cela pour mon prochain billet !

After visiting almost every Disneyland parks in the world ( see here Orlando and Tokyo ), it was a real pleasure for me to come back to the one of my childhood, and for a very special occasion: Disneyland Paris 20th extended anniversary.
Very special events were taking place throughout a week end for the press and celebrities, such as a fashion show with a beautiful Minnie in a Lanvin dress, a delicious cocktail, and a fabulous nightime show ( it was crazy, I’ll come back to it a little bit later ).
This new visit in the world of Disney gave me the opportunity to enjoy the park, the festivities and the roller coasters like I never did before ( with Space Mountain privatized in the evening, I had enough time to do it at least 4 times in a row ).
I really have the feeling I spent some incredibly magical moments during these two days, but I also get a little bit nostalgic, in a good way.
When the park opened 20 years ago, I was only a small little girl, watching VHS of Snow White, Alice In Wonderland, Peter Pan, Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella over and over.
There’s so many memories coming back to me when I walk through the gates of this park… but I could talk about it for hours, so I’ll just keep that for my next article !

Je reviens donc sur le spectacle nocturne, qui a eu lieu le samedi soir.
1500 invités se sont regroupés devant le château de la Belle au Bois Dormant pour assister à l’avant première de la nouvelle version du spectacle « Disney Dreams », et découvrir de nouvelles scènes inédites, projetées sur la façade. Un bal de personnages Disney, de jets d’eau et de feux d’artifice impressionnant !
Mais le clou du spectacle, c’était les chapeaux !
Des oreilles de Mickey lumineuses plus précisément, distribuées et portées par tous les invités ( tout le monde à joué le jeu et ça faisait vraiment plaisir ).
Ces oreilles étaient synchronisées avec le spectacle, clignotaient et changeaient de couleurs toutes ensembles. L’effet était magique !

So like I said, here is a little bit more about the show, which took place on Saturday evening.
1500 guest have gathered in front of Sleeping Beauty castle to attend the Premiere « Disney Dream » new version. All the Disney characters dancing, and the fireworks were pretty amazing.
But the highlight of the show was the hats !
Mickey light up ears more precisely, which were given and worn by all the guests ( everyone played the game and it was really fun ! ).
These ears were synchronized with the show, flashing and changing colors all together. The effect was magical !
