De passage à Londres, j’ai rejoint Shini, Kit et Marie qui m’ont fait visiter le marché aux fleurs de Columbia road.

L’endroit est très populaire le dimanche, il y avait foule.

Pour moi un week end à Londres n’est jamais tout a fait complet sans un bon thé accompagné de scones et d’une part de carrot cake. J’ai découvert un très joli salon de thé appellé Cake Hole, au fond d’une boutiques de services à thé vintage: Vintage Heaven.

Et pour finir, après une visite à la boutique J&B, nous avons filé à Covent garden, chez Tutti Frutti pour que j’essaye mon premier froyo !

While I was on a short trip to London, I joined Shini, Kit and Marie who took me to the Columbia Flower market.

The place is very popular on Sunday, and as expected, there was a massive crowd.

For me, a week end in London is never quite complete without a good cup of tea, some scones and a slice of carrot cake. We went to the Cake Hole, a cute tea place located at the back of a vintage store: Vintage Heaven.

And on top of that, after visiting the pretty J&B shop, we went off to Tutti Frutti at covent garden, where I could try my first froyo !

Depuis quelque temps, j’ai remarqué que les différents voyages que j’ai fait on eu une forte influence sur mes goûts et la façon dont je m’habille.

Assez classique sur les formes et les tissus à la base ( mis à part les rayures et les imprimés fleuris ), je n’ai jamais été trop attirée par les couleurs flashy et les imprimés bariolés.

Non pas que je n’aime pas ça, au contraire, je ne me sens simplement pas à l’aise quand j’en porte.

C’est souvent comme ça avec les vêtements, l’idée du confort diffère énormément d’une personne à l’autre, pour une couleur, un style de pantalon ou une forme de robe !

Par exemple le style ethnique, je trouve ça super jolie sur pleins de filles, mais sur moi c’est peine perdu.

Depuis, j’ai eu l’occasion de visiter différents pays, et peu à peu, j’ai commencé à me sensibiliser à autres chose que ce que j’ai l’habitude de porter.

Mon voyage au Kenya m’a rendu accro à tout ce qui touche de près ou de loin les félins. La Polynésie et la Thaïlande m’ont sensibilisés aux imprimés palmier et plantes exotiques.

Sans oublier les fruits comme les ananas, pastèques ou citrons, avec lesquels j’aime jouer de manière humoristique.

Tout cela me rappelle des souvenirs de vacances, portés en petites touches et mélangées avec d’autres pièces plus classiques.

C’est aussi une manière de ramener un peu de soleil dans sa garde robe … quand il se fait désirer en plein mois de Mai !

Not so long ago, I noticed the various travels I made had a strong influence on my taste and the way I dress up.

I’m pretty classic in my choices of fabrics and clothing shapes ( apart from stripes and floral prints maybe ), and I was never really attracted by really bright colors and colorfull prints.

Not that I don’t like it, I just don’t feel confortable wearing them.

It really seems to be that way with clothes. It’s funny to see how the idea of confort can differ from a person to another, for colors, pants or dresses !

For exemple, I think ethnic style looks incredible on other girls, but strangely it doesn’t work with me.

Since then, I had the opportunity to visit a few countries, and slowly began to show an interest for things different than I normally wear.

My trip to Kenya got me addicted to anything feline related. French Polynesia and Thailand made me fall in love for palmtrees and exotic prints.

Not to mention fruits as pineapples, watermelons and lemons, worn an humoristic way, and mixed with more classical clothes.

All these things brings my holidays memories back to life.

And it also bring a little sunshine into the wardrobe … when it’s still not quite there in May !

Mon premier coup de cœur pour un sac Louis Vuitton a commencé il y a environ deux ans.

J’avais tout d’abord craqué pour un modèle speedy épi, puis investi pour le très convoité PM de Sofia Coppola.

Des sacs qui me suivent partout, et font partie des grands classiques de ma garde robe.

C’est d’ailleurs à partir de ces deux sacs qu’une idée avec la Maison Louis Vuitton a émergée: les mettre en scène de façon personnelle lors d’un shooting mode.

Pour cette séance photo, j’ai également choisi un autre modèle Louis Vuitton que j’aime particulièrement: le Monceau BB, qui se marie extrêmement bien avec la collection croisière 2013.

Shooté avec une photographe que j’ai découvert il y a quelques années, Marie Zucker, l’ambiance était inspirée du film Valley of the Dolls façon LA, sur fond de Paris vintage, babydoll 60′s et couleurs poudrées.

I fell in love for my first Louis Vuitton bag about two years ago.

It was a Speedy Epi, soon after followed by the long time coveted PM by Sofia Coppola.

Bags that follow me everywhere, and are part of the classics of my wardrobe.

And it is from these two bags that an idea with the house of Louis Vuitton started: starring them in a photoshoot, with my personnal interpretation.

For this photoshoot, I also picked another bag from Louis Vuitton that I really like: the Monceau BB, which look incredible with the LV 2013 cruise collection.

The photos were taken by a photographer I discovered a few years ago, Marie Zucker, and the atmosphere of the shoot was inspired by the LA spirit in the movie Valley of the Dolls, with a vintage Paris backdrop, 60′s babydoll and powdery colors.

La ligne jeune de Chloé, See by Chloé a récemment sorti son tout premier parfum.

Je me suis toujours senti en affinité avec l’esprit de cette maison, qui représente une féminité romantique et intemporelle.

L’équipe de See by Chloé m’a proposé une collaboration autour de ce nouveau parfum, et c’est la forme du flacon qui m’a inspirée.

Elle me fait penser à une cage à oiseau.

Quoi de mieux que de jolies plumes pour se mettre dans la peau d’un oiseau de paradis, qui se serait échappé de sa cage ?

I’ve always love the Chloé spirit, for its romantic and timeless feminity.

The See by Chloé team asked me for a collaboration around this perfume, and I was mostly inspired by the shape of the bottle:

It reminds me of a bird cage.

So what’s better than some feathers to transform myself into a bird of paradise, who escaped of its cage ?

J’ai été invitée à Munich par Louis Vuitton la semaine dernière, pour l’ouverture de leur nouvelle Maison, une boutique installé dans l’ancienne poste principale de la ville: la “Residenzpost”.

Ça a été l’occasion pour moi de découvrir Munich, où je n’étais jamais allé.

Une balade en calèche dans le jardin Anglais, dégustation de bière et bretzel géant comme il se doit, et de quelques autres plats locaux.

Très drôle aussi de découvrir qu’à Munich, on peut faire du surf !

Et pour la soirée, quel ravissement d’entendre la belle voix de Marina And The Diamonds, et de voir des montgolfières installées un peu partout!

Une séance photo dans la nacelle inspirée de la campagne ” L’Invitation au Voyage” s’imposait. Et la réalisation d’une très belle lettre personnalisée au Cabinet d’Ecriture.

Je suis retourné à Paris le lendemain non pas en montgolfière, mais sur un petit nuage, transportée par le souvenir d’un si beau séjour.

Last week, I was invited by Louis vuitton for the opening of their new Maison, a brand new store housed in the city’s former main post office: the “Residenzpost”.

It was a great opportunity for me to discover Munich, where I never been before.

A horse carriage ride in the English garden, beer and giant bretzel tasting for the classics, and some other local dishes.

Quite amusing to see that in Munich, you can surf as well !

And for the event, what a delight to hear the gorgeous voice of Marina And The Diamonds, and to see balloons everywhere !

A photoshoot in the one inspired by “ L’Invitation au Voyage” campaign had to be done :-p

Having a very pretty letter hand made by the Cabinet d’Ecriture as well.

I was on my way back to Paris the next morning, not in a balloon, but still moved by the memories of such a beautiful stay.

A l’occasion de l’anniversaire des 10 ans du sac 24 Heures de Gérard Darel, on m’a confié la réalisation d’une série photo mettant en scène le modèle de mon choix.

J’ai choisi le 24 Heures “Raphia” de l’année 2010, spécialement réédité pour l’événement.

J’ai toujours aimé les grands paniers. Ils me rappellent le sud où j’ai passé cinq années de mon enfance. Toujours très pratiques pour aller à la cueillette des fruits et aller à la plage !

Celui ci mélange à la fois ce raphia très estival, et la forme du grand classique de la maison. Il me rappelle également le modèle en maille grise, où je fourrais toutes mes affaires d’étudiante en 2007!

To celebrate the 10 years anniversary of Gerard Darel’s “24 Heures” bag, I had the interesting challenge to make a feature in my own mood.

I chose the 24 heures “Raphia”, designed in 2010. It’s been reedited especially for the occasion.

I’ve always loved big baskets. They remind me of the south, where I spent 5 years of my childhood. So convenient to go to the beach and put in some fruits !

It also reminds me of a grey knitted one, in which I used to carry all my student supplies back in 2007 !

Et oui je n’arrête pas avec les imprimés animaliers. Je trouve celui de cette blouse Boutique by Jaeger particulièrement amusant, car de loin, on pourrait croire qu’il ne s’agit que d’une simple chemise à pois. Le col pétale aussi fait la différence. Tout dans le détail !

Et pour changer, j’adore la porter avec encore une fois… une robe salopette !

I’ll definitely won’t stop with the animals prints. I particulary love this one on that Boutique by Jaeger blouse because you would think it’s just a random polka dots blouse, if you don’t look closely at it. The scalloped collar is also a favorite. All in the details !

And for a change, I like to wear it with… another pinafore dress !
